Creating a Mandala: |
Through music, meditation, color and sacred geometry, unlock your capacity for creative expression during a seminar that allows connection to your own mysteries and deep beliefs. Mandala, a Tibetan word for wheel, is an ancient art form that represents the innermost expressions of the heart, believed by many to unlock forces that can unify and heal. In conjunction with Albright-Knox Art Gallery and dalailamabuffalo.com, this seminar is offered in honor of the presence of the 14th Dalai Lama at the University at Buffalo. In the late 1980’s, His Holiness revealed to the world many Buddhist mandalas that had previously been viewed only by traditional practitioners. Manya Fabiniak is an artist, writer, and expressive arts therapist who has lectured and conducted seminars throughout the community.
